How to Use Kombucha Scoby

Prepare sweet tea using black or green tea and sugar. Let it cool completely.

Pour tea into a clean glass jar and add the SCOBY with the starter tea.

Cover with muslin cloth or a breathable lid and secure with a rubber band.

Let it ferment for 7–14 days at room temperature (20–30°C).

Taste after 7 days; when desired tartness is reached, remove the SCOBY, bottle the tea, and start a new batch.
