  3. Strain and Store: After the kefir has fermented to your liking, strain the grains from the liquid. The grains are reusable for subsequent batches, so set them aside. Transfer the kefir to a clean bottle and refrigerate.
  4. Reuse the Grains: After each batch, rinse the grains gently with cool water (if desired), then place them back in fresh milk to start the next batch. You can reuse the grains for as long as they are healthy and producing quality kefir.
