Probiotic Drinks in Pakistan

Fermented drinks made the traditional way, in small batches. Kanji (kaanji) is a tangy drink of the subcontinent, made by fermenting carrots or beetroot with mustard seed and salt in water. Kvass is a traditional Eastern European fermented drink, which we make from beetroot. Both are best drunk cold and fresh, and they contain live cultures when they are not heat-treated after fermenting.

  • Research on these drinks in people is limited, so we make no health claims.
